I was just watching one of those "teens react" videos where they were listening to 00s music and at the end they were saying how music back then was better and more real and how we need to go back to it and I was because I'm 25 and I remember as a kid how much shyt people were talking about the music back then and how much better music was in the 90s and the 80s, literally word for word critiques except for another decade.

No it doesn't. Snap was a fun time that didn't take itself too serious. You still had serious rappers, they just didn't dominate the radio anymore. Other genres of music flourished. 00's was one of the GOAT movie decades too.

Yeah I wasn't saying it was the same people saying these things but it was a common sentiment since people who grew up in the 80s were in their 20s and 30s and the 90s were starting to become distant

I always look at sports.

Watching some old college football games on ESPN classic from when I was a freshman in '04. Uniforms look mostly modern but a bit older and most stadiums still had natural grass or astro turf. None of this field turf stuff.

The games seem "tighter" with less spread/air raid teams.

NBA was ISO ball 101.

Watch Pat's vs Rams in 01...made me feel old.

College football was very interesting 2000-2010. The top guys was rockstars and had NFL level fame.

Reggie bush & tebow were the biggest football players during their respective times excluding no one. Johnny Manziel came close this decade but he ain't get the ring to back it up.
