They had a good idea, but they carried that internalized white supremacy within them to the point they oppressed the indigenous Africans until they overthrew their rule and forced them out of the country.
I also see the other side, they were more educated than the natives and the country was founded as a safe haven for AA, so they deserved to rule. Also once they were overthrown the nation's economy crumbled with a succession of dictators.
The AAgang in me loves the idea of going into Africa and setting up our own shyt, but the pan Africanist in me knows the fight is global and recreating a form of supremacy that suppresses other blacks is not that answer

Here is the reality though, you remove a group of people from their culture, purposely wipe away their previous culture through attempts to assimilate them into a new slave status in a land not their own and then try to send them back to a land, where they probably didn't originate from (country and area wise, not continent wise) and say here "you're both black, make it work" is a setup to fail.
Black Americans are not Africans, without even making a further distinction of exactly where we originally were taken from since we come from many places in general west Africa. Even today, if a large amount of AA migrated to Ghana for example, its very likely they will be their own social group for a long time and that will probably arise in conflict with people native to the area.
Black Americans at this point can only call America, where they are constantly made to feel unwanted, home. Culturally and socially.
An Asian person migrates to the United States and even a generation or two down the line, they have family and parents who make sure they don't forget where they came from. They don't have a whole institution and society setup to purposely strip them of their identity to make them into slaves. An Americanized Chinese definitely won't be Chinese but he won't be totally out of his element there either due to the traditions and culture passed down from his family.

Ehh precolonial Africa was violent as fukk, there were probably atrocities committed on both sides and I wasn’t there.
When I was young and first started reading and learning about precolonial West Africa, I would read certain things and think “nah that can’t be true, the colonizers had to have made that up”, I would ask my dad to confirm it was lies made up by white people and he just looked at me like
“Are you stupid? that’s how it actually was, shyt was fukked up by today’s standards but it made sense back then”
It was kill or be killed literally, getting caught in the wrong area and not being able to speak the language was basically a death sentence in a lot of parts of west Africa.

They would have wanted all the smoke with other Africans from neighbouring countries moving in as well. You need to think outside your circle sometimes. Land conflicts are probably one of the biggest reasons for crime and murder all over Africa and you are saying just go take some land n set up shop. That will never go over well anywhere. We butcher other tribes for that you are no exception, no one is. Which is why I asked how is land being "acquired" exactly?
