Detroit was done by 1991-92 anyway. It's always the knicks or pacers that everyone refers to as a team of super goons who would maul everyone of this era as if they won every finals of the decade . Their best team of the 90's was either the 1993 or 1994 team. The 1993 team that got home court in the 1993 playoffs was 22nd out of 27 teams in offensive rating . That team would get left in the dust same as the grizzlies did last spring against golden state. People want to act like they aren't among the elite on defense and just so happen to run teams off the floor too. Imagine them in a decade with no illegal defense and Curry isolating against some of the stiffs on the wing of that decade. Reggie fukking miller led a team to game 7 of the conference finals in 1998 and was there in 1994 and 1995 too. A guy with career averages of 18-3-3 and never even made an all NBA 2nd team. 90's stans don't want a team this versatile on both ends of the court with this many shooters in an era where Curry can isolate or Klay can isolate.
