breh Im lowkey hoping my ex wants to let us try again.

I have a new chick...but unfortunately for her she cant compete with a 6 year relationship with my ex

....I say im content wit my new, but I know if my phone rings one day and my ex finally agrees to let us try again, my new main (who was once my side chick) is getting thrown in the bushes for good..

my new is a nice girl and its fukked up for her because she did nothing wrong . yet I made her a side chick (when she thought she was my main)...then when my real main broke up wit me...i graduated my side chick to take the place of my main...she has no idea she was once my side chick and is now a rebound...

I feel bad inside but a big part of me doesnt want to be out here with no steady

this is very similar to my last situation. I was with my ex for 7 yrs and got with a new chick. But I made an exec decision and broke up with the new girl because I knew I'd leave and go back if given the chance.

Tread carefully, Cuz the longer you're with your new chick the harder it is gonna be to break away if you decide to go back to your ex. And you will wind up breaking another girl's heart and questioning if it was the right decision

I feel like I did the right thing but the ether of being alone and possibly ending up empty handed is tough to deal with sometimes. I look back everyday and think "I shouldve stayed with the new girl, at least she held me down and didn't do anything wrong" but it's hard for a new girl to beat the history of an old ex you've known forever

shyt when me and my ex split up, I was fukking chicks who were badder than her shortly after. But they just couldn't compare, shyt was crazy. I would literally be in bed with a bad bytch and after I smashed I'd just lay back and think about my ex, and how we'd sit in bed and talk for hours sometimes.

i feel like every man goes thru this period in his 20's. its crazy too. the stories are all so similar. we're conditioned (especially in the black community) to chase tail as a young man. in the meantime you fukk over some chicks who were good to you. you don't learn until its too late.

i tried to explain this to my last gf. she was going off about how her ex didn't want to change until she was on her way out the door. I was like "that's how men are tho. we have to fukk it up sometimes to realize what we got/had" she was like fukk that. lol. dude was lookin miserable when he found out that she moved on.

Honestly just from these few sentences you don't seem like a very good boyfriend so maybe you should take some time to yourself (be SINGLE) and become the person you want to attract. Your ex wouldn't want someone who fukks her over and you certainly wouldn't want a woman that would fukk you over so why are you doing that?

my brother-in-law is going through this now. Fell hard for a "good girl" but found out she was just with him for the fun of being around some nikkas(she's black, but grew up in a white neighborhood) eventually she figured out that his friends were more exciting and she turned into a homie smasher.

He acted cool with it at first. Said he didn't care. But I know it eats him up inside. He feels like he never should have brought her around that life. It's been over a year now, and twice he's called me to pick him up cause he was around them/her and he was at the brink of tears

I told him to get another chick and let her go. But I guess he's going to have to do it on his own terms.

I realize more and more when I talk to my current girl that I really don't love my ex. I just love the IDEA of her. shyt my current girl was even saying how I was too good for my ex damn near the entire time I was with her. That might have just been gas lighting though.
