I was in the same situation almost a year ago...only thing that will make it better is time and not talking to that person...period.

yeah...I think it always stays with you a little..I'm sure if we all asked our parents, a few might actually reveal that they've mighta not completely gotten over someone they were in love with in the past.
I have 2 from my past that still stay with me a little....I'm dealing with someone different now and we're good money. But after the break-ups, when I'd date other girls i'd be on some "do I want someone like the ex, or unlike the ex..well something that's familiar"(this is a andre3k line btw). think relationships that deep are gonna leave markss on your life no matter what, it's just part of your life at this point.

That pain doesn't hit home until you've busted that nut and you're just sitting there wondering what the fukk you're doing.
That lure of new p*ssy is always in a young mans head especially in his late teens, 20's. We all got friends who are slaying more girls than us and we want that life. Just to see if we got it in us. Come to find out we all can get girls but there's a handful you even give a fukk to hang out with.
Starting to realize I just want a friend who I can debate with, laugh with/at, talk shyt too and want to fukk them. That's it. Everything else is the same from person to person. We all got bullshyt that someone else doesn't like but once you find that girl that is your friend and you wanna fukk her all the time, hold on to that brehs and brehettes.
No way 18 year-old me would think that first serious relationship would still mean something to me but it does.

I"m honestly starting to believe she's fukking with my head though. She said come to church with me, I swallowed my pride and did that. Then she got some new dude. He's a clown obviously. i feel like every man goes thru this period in his 20's. its crazy too. the stories are all so similar. we're conditioned (especially in the black community) to chase tail as a young man. in the meantime you fukk over some chicks who were good to you. you don't learn until its too late.

I feel sorry for people who mighta passed while young and never got to experience....or those who grow old and let a relationship scar them to the point that they can't recover for the rest of their life. Seen it happen to my great uncle. Broke up with someone his late 30's and never recovered...dude died recently at 85, no kids. Dude's been relationship-less ever since I remember...my older fam says he just never recovered when 'ol girl left him.
