Lies everybody watched one saturday mornings growing up unless you were born in the 80s
Of course we were born in the 80s.:gucci:

X-men the animated series came out in 92. How old were you? You probably didn't watch any of these shows until after they were in syndication.
At one point just on Fox we the following lineup of brand new episodes every saturday morning.
Batman the Animated Series
X-men the Animated Series
Spiderman
The Tick
Plus Power Rangers the with og cast came on too.
It was literally a precursor to this modern Super Hero movie era. They hooked us in early , then a decade later started making live action film versions of all these shows.
:wow:

Sports brehs, how is ESPN+? That $12.99 triple package with Disney+/Hulu look kinda nice :patrice:

do you gamble? If so, it’s a lot of games that wouldn’t be on live TV on there

It has a lot of boxing and MMA too

  • It's convenient.
  • The quality is hit or miss. Something labeled 1080p could be 480.
  • There's exclusive content behind the paywall. I don't care for Darkwing Duck or Gargoyles. I want to see the Marvel shows and Mandalorian.
You dont think Mandalorian is on there :mjlol:

People Like Paying For Convenience

They Don’t Wanna Have To Hide Their IP Address And Jump Through Hoops Like Some Of You Nerds Looking To Save $6

I actually agreed with y'all & had the same meh opinions on "Gargoyles" when I was kid in the 90's. But I rewatched it as an adult several years ago. "Gargoyles" is a show that holds up great & I completely slept on it growing up. You can watch "Gargoyles" comfortably as an adult. It's from the same producer/writer that does "Young Justice", Greg Weisman.

:francis: As far as "Darkwing Duck", I've been telling brehs in The Film Room for years that most of those those 90's Disney cartoons do not hold up as well as the 90's Warner Bros. cartoons.
people my age and older are watching goof troop and adventures of Winnie the pooh.
I'm 27

I just tried watching Parasite on cinema the other day and couldn't make it past 10 minutes due to all the buffering. I have gigabit internet so to go from streaming a show in 4k with no buffer to that just to save some $$$ isn't worth the hit to the quality of the movie/show or the $6/m "saved".
