:heh:

So you have no choice but to claim black because white people wouldn't? This is becoming fun for me. Why would white folks claim Obama? He has a black father.

How many white people can identify with someone who has a black father?

I would suspect not many, but for some reason black people can identify with a man who has a white mother. :whoo: "Brotha" if you don't see the sickness of that you lost.

I seriously don't get what your actual point is. You obviously don't know as much as you think you know.

Simple.

My point is black people claiming bi-racial people for any reason is not only outdated but I listed the reasons in why they do so. I also pointed out the contradictory stance most full black Americans have on this topic.

First off if you really know the history, you will know that is was never Blacks claiming bi-racials, there was many circumstances that led to Bi-Racials or light skinned Blacks being group with so-called full Blacks.

And light Skinned Blacks being grouped in with "real" Blacks was just as beneficial to them(if not even more) than to so-called real Black folks.

:dead:

Of course I know the history. If you read my earlier posts I stated it is outdated and in this day and there really is no reason for this grouping outside of appeasing white people.

And I beg to differ.

I listed some of the so-called most prominent "black Americans" who are in fact bi-racial. Would the majority of black Americans who are fully black really accept Obama calling himself "bi-racial"? We all know the answer to that.

This classification of bi-racial being "black" benefits black Americans today and them only. They are already seen as having the best of both worlds so to speak.

You can extract the recessive from the dominant but you cannot extract the dominant from the recessive, meaning you can get the weak from the strong but you cannot get the strong from the weak. -

this thread is a clear example of why i don't consider bi-racial folks black. :yeshrug:

Are bi-racial ppl willing to grow a pair and stand up to white supremacy and declare that they aren't just black?

Are black people willing to accept that some of the best and brightest so called black Americans are bi-racial and leave it as that? As the truth?

Why are you mad at me.

Black people with two black parents are quick to claim bi-racial people especially black and white. And you are getting mad at me because I'm pointing this out?

You getting mad that the truth is without this pairing and racial grouping black Americans would be behind in a lot of areas?

That there would be no Malcom X, W.E.B. Dubois or Obama. There "achievements" would go to "bi-racial" and not black. That would be devastating to a lot of black people whether you want to admit it or not.

I get what you're saying but I don't think it's accurate to say that black people as a race would be behind if it weren't for mixed individuals. There is a long list of non mixed blacks who were involved in the betterment of black people but they didn't get any credit for whatever reason.

Other than that I agree with your point. The division is stupid.

light skinned blacks aren't treated nearly as bad as dark skinned blacks, and across the board are afforded more opportunities in life. Dark skin blacks reflect the physical image of the original human beings on this planet and are physically superior to the mixed blacks
