My take is, don't raise black children in predominantly white areas

I got that before but to be fair it's also an indictment on the black women who say that since in some instances it's rooted in ignorance and insecurity on their part.

It definitely counts but I think that just leads to the insecurity they have later on in life. They don't know how to socialize with black people unless it's family. When they get older they realize they are out of touch with their own people

Care to further explain the highlighted? What exactly is the "black experience" and why is it something that some parents feel the need to "protect" their kids from?

Usually it's classism, which results in "special snowflake" syndrome. (I'm not like those black folks )
A lot of the time, it's safety. Dont go over to that part of town, no you can't hang in the projects, early curfew, etc.
Down talking other black people is another way kids get influenced. Kids pick up on more things than we give them credit for.
