No "Super Bowl" in Las Vegas
I went to Vegas for Super Bowl weekend last year and the hotel I stayed at, The Westgate, was throwing one complete with a memorabilia show. Maybe I'm missing something here though The Westgate was THE casino for wagering
The strip was packed with NFL fans that weekend , especially Bronco fans
Let me specify...Of course people still come here to watch and bet on the super bowl but the nfl shut vegas down on "large scale" super bowl parties years ago...i live here I know...they said it would mess with the ratings or some dumb shyt...but it was about gambling....they have eased up a bit since then but they still have viewed vegas as a stigma....tony romo was banned from hosting a fantasy football event a few years ago...vegas ads were banned from the super bowl too...just showing you how the nfl has come full circle on las vegas
