Don't like the move, any real Raider fan no matter where you're from would say that Oakland is the rightful home of the Raiders. But with that said money talks and Vegas won out. LA is clearly where the Raiders should've moved if they had to leave Oakland because of the huge fanbase and tradition but after the box out by Kronke we gotta take this Vegas gamble. I'll say this, if done right this can be successful. I'd definitely still try to play preseason games in Oakland and keep training camp at Napa Valley after the move is done to keep the Bay roots. Or maybe a mix of Oakland, LA, and Vegas with a game each in the Oakland and LA Coliseum on some nostalgia shyt and the remaining two in Vegas before the season starts. At the very least, an excellent fan package with bus and hotel accommodations, if they provide a good enough tailgate area they can get the party started a day early for those fans that aren't into gambling or other debauchery. Mark has to offset the guaranteed flood of opposing fans by having a strong outreach program within the region. The Raiders could potentially run football in a huge chunk of the West Coast including the state of California.
This much is for sure, this Vegas bit whether good or bad will only be another wrinkle of distinguishment added to this franchise's story. The pride of blue collar Oakland, the spirit of LA's everyday citizens and it's only Superbowl champion, now the first major franchise to go to Sin City. Even people like me that don't like the deal can admit that the Raiders outlaw image fits perfectly with the image of Vegas. Lets hope for the best Raider brehs, Reggie needs to get to fukkin work so Oakland can get another Superbowl or two.
