Mark Davis already registered Vegas Raiders website, almost 20 years ago on Christmas

It has come to light that Mark Davis — now the Raiders owner — first considered the idea of the Las Vegas in or before 1998. And on Christmas Day that year, he apparently hopped on his Intel Pentium II and bought himself a gift: the domain name lasvegasraiders.com.

One of the cats I went to school with has a wife who is one of the County Commissioners and she is the ONLY ONE who voted against the education budget cuts that she knew was gonna be used to fund the new baseball stadium there.

that is a fact....the NFL is the same as any other big conglomerate ....principles mean shyt when money is involved....the NFL never even allowed referees to VISIT las vegas in the off season much less have a team here.....the casinos here couldn't even host super bowl parties here or even say the word "super bowl"....and there is countless more cases where the NFL treated vegas like that crackhead you didn't want to be seen with because of the stigma that was involved....NOW vegas will be hosting a super bowl in a few years....all because MONEY....Vegas has it Oakland doesn't and regardless of how much contempt Goodell has for Vegas the billionaires will follow the money trail

Oakland has money. They just wasn't giving none to the NFL.

I went to Vegas for Super Bowl weekend last year and the hotel I stayed at, The Westgate, was throwing one complete with a memorabilia show. Maybe I'm missing something here though The Westgate was THE casino for wagering

The strip was packed with NFL fans that weekend , especially Bronco fans
