I get what she’s saying.

In Gayle King a lot of black women see like a motherly/auntie type figure.

Imagine you going on twitter and calling your aunty a Dog Faced bytch. No matter the reason your family gone be looking at you crazy.

True dat but for Susan Rice, Jada etc to act like Snoop was referring to all black women when he was clearly talking about Gayle is some real devious bullshyt.

No it’s not. As a black man, I know my grandmother would be extremely uncomfortable if I spoke to any black woman like that. We have to think bout those things. Our woman are constantly disrespected, dismissed and many are going to internalize disrespect even if you not talking to them

I don’t think Gayle deserves any respect and I felt snoop when he said what he said. But the problem is, how we as black men speak to/handle black woman is critical and it’s not about the one black women you dealing with.

you wouldn’t see Jews or Asian men speaking to their elder women that way, Ever, because THEY STAY ON CODE. We can organize, and get Gayle out of here but we don’t ever have to publicly say what snoop said to a black woman.

The same can be said about black men. A lot of these women that were offended by Snoop's response probably have no room to talk. How many times have we heard that black men ain't shyt? And how many times have they took their anger out on their sons because they're mad at the kid's dad? Yet no matter how ratchet a lot of them can be, we're still supposed to hold them in high regard because they're black women.

...which amounts to nothing. As I thought.

Knowing that you would do nothing, why don't you just do nothing with this "outrage"?

I'll do whatever I want to do with this (lack of) outrage - including laughing at you incels who are whining about Snoop's apology tour right now. I mean, how else is Snoop gonna be white America's favorite black guy?

Right. Nobody idolizing Gayle King. People ain’t hold her in some high regard....she was just Oprah’s friend. Nobody was even thinking bout her before this popped off.

dude tryna act like she was Michelle Obama status or something. :mjlol:

this and real talk what has Gayle “done” besides be the sidekick on a team that was already winning? It’s not like we’re out here marveling in her defining moments because those moments don’t exist.

Who said Anything about high regard? I said we need to handle them accordingly but public displays of disrespect are not beneficial.

If you really think snoop handled that situation correctly okay. Gayle, Oprah are dead to me but when I speak on it I’m going to make the conversation about their transgressions and not silly insults.

Be Oprah’s “friend”, deflect for Harvey, come for black men exclusively.
