I think Gasol bothers me more than Noah.

Portis needs minutes

We STILL need another athletic, dynamic, ball-handling, scorer with some size...aha

We're a jump shooting, cut to the basket type team, that is soft on the wings on defense.

Mike Dunleavy's absence looms large for Bulls
In 23.7 minutes per game, Snell is averaging 6.1 points a contest. He is just 4-for-22 from the field over his last four games.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, among the 288 players to take at least 20 2-point attempts this year, Snell has the worst two-point field goal percentage of any player in the league.

From inside eight feet, Snell is just shooting just 23.8 percent (5-for-21), the worst percentage among the 302 players to take at least 10 field-goal attempts from inside eight feet this season. Snell is just 2-for-11 (18.2 percent) from inside the restricted area. On the year, Snell is 25-for-74 from the field and has taken exactly 37 2-point field goals and 37 3-point field goals. He's 9-for-37 from 2-point range (24.3 percent) and 16-for-37 from 3-point range (43.2 percent).

Moore was terrible out there last night .. Snell and McDermott brought very little if anything :stopitslime:

Noah did what he did most of this season :francis:

But this game highlighted the fact we need another athletic scorer / wing :yeshrug:

Something we have been saying nearly for the past 4/5 years :yeshrug:

Dunleavy will help ..but he ain't the answer :manny:

The offense that last 2-3 mins was horrible :martin:

A trade with Brooks/plus 1 of our Big for somebody or anybody would be nice

:jbhmm: That bein said on the upside we gave it our best shake last night under manned and without rose

Those final two to 3 minutes look diff with someone else who can create his own shot :patrice:

And just shows that everyone sayin rose is done on this team / this is jimmys team should rethink that premise ...:comeon:

But on another note jimmy G:salute: kid balled out like we needed him to ( still he struggled a lilbthose last few possessions )

And Kirk lookin like a ' Prime Kurt ' was :whew::gladbron::ohhh:

Good game .. No shame in that effort last nite

WHO BELIEVE THAT BUM SHOULD BE STARTING.

I think it's more about the front line tandems Hoiberg is choosing to play. Gasol and Noah are both extremely one-dimensional at this point so you need to offset their lack of skill with whoever is at PF. Right now, Hoiberg is opting to go offense/offense in the starting lineup and defense/defense off the bench. I think most rational Bulls fans would prefer he start either Gasol/Taj or Noah/Niko.

Speaking of Noah. I can understand getting flabby and not being able to play. But why in the hell can he NOT make a FT anymore? He used to be around 75%. Now he's like 30%. There's no excuse for that. Other teams should be giving him the deandre Jordan treatment.

Regardless of who Noah plays with, he's still someone that doesn't have to be defended even if he's 3 feet away from the basket, someone that tries to squeeze backdoor passes in tight spaces and tries to lead the fast break.

Fair enough. And Gasol is someone who routinely gets abused on pick and rolls and switches, essentially leading to layup drills from opposing guards. It's pick your poison with these two.
