Look I think jimmy is a great player, but he alone ain't leading us to a ecf or getting mvp. He needs rose, rose needs him. Period. All this convoluted bs reading more into thier comments is childish on the part of the Chicago media. The failure of last season is not only on rose and thibs, jimmy was there, noah was there, niko was there, taj was there etc. At any moment somebody else could have stepped up. So I'm not taking anyone acting brand new now in this season since the media wants to place the teams failure squarely on the back of thibs and now rose.
Everyone knows rose is not the most vocal, and jimmy has also said noah is too emotional. In the end who cares, all these dudes need to get it together.

its more of Jimmy taking ownership of this team and wanting to be the MAN, that much is clear right now
i do feel like its a somewhat indirect shot at Noah/Rose though but its not the story here
