this Doug fiasco is gonna set this team back ... along with the Hoiberg hiring

GarPax need to be held responsible for that shyt

if they drafted Harris(or Hood) / Nurkic - or just moved up and took Lavine over Doug - we would be in such a beautiful place looking ahead for the future (Rose, Jimmy, Lavine, Niko, Portis ... or Rose, Jimmy, Harris/Hood, Niko, Portis, Nurkic)

they really fukked up bad there, its really frustrating for me to think about

Taking teague over barton and draymond green is really bad too

Especially when barton worked out 3x for the bulls and thibs was encouraging them to take draymond green.

It looks like as all this is getting exposed, they will throw gar forman on the sword

I myself think both of them need to go. They are clueless on building a championship contender.

they fukked up there too, but I can live with fukking up the 29th pick, thats gonna happen to every team from time to time

However, I cant live with them trading 16 & 19, moving into the lottery and fukking that up

I mean, my initial reaction was that they fukked up and I dont scout players for a living. That was just based on knowing our team needs and the limited amount of tape I saw on Doug, Harris, Hood, Nurkic, Lavine, etc (Ill admit I was also high on Staukas too but again, Im not paid to do this shyt. )

If youre gonna move two picks in a deep draft for a lottery pick, you better be DAMN SURE that dude youre drafting can play - they really fukked up bad I think

I still hope/think Doug is salvageable, but if he doesnt turn out better than guys like Harris, Hood and Lavine - then thats really bad.

Yea that's the only reason I'm upset with the doug pick, even if he somehow fell to 16th, and we took him at 16th and got Harris or hood at 19th (I always liked hood) I would be fine with the development of doug. And who knows, he could still in a few years develop to be a kyle korver type. But the front office sold doug as well as niko as players ready to contribute from day 1 even alluded to them being starters, and neither of them have lived up to that expectation. Not to mention all we gave up to get doug 2, picks, having to take on Anthony Randolph then send 2 2nd rd picks to Orlando to unload Anthony Randolph smh. So even if doug does ok it's still a bust because what it took to get him should have been warranting him being at least top 5 of his draft class and a quality starter. But at this point we would be lucky if he could duplicate jj Reddikk production in 4 years. The expectations that he would be a Paul pierce type for us, was wwwwaaaaayyy off tho lol

Damn man , if we had JJ over Doug right now, I think we would be right up there with the Cavs for the #1 spot

And to be fair, we have to play a little hindsight and be fair to thibs for the slow way he was bringing these guys along. He clearly saw something that not even gar or pax could see. Because the front office wanted to sight playing time for why guys were not producing, and hoiberg has def given them the playing time and they have not lived up.

I thought about Evans, what I like is the fact he can take both jimmy and rose off the ball which might get both of them going so we could stop seeing the rose hot jimmy off/jimmy hot rose off, games .

But reke can be a poor shooter and he out of our price range or we would have to trade taj for him which I'm not willing to do. Unless the pelicans willing to do take noah, but I'm assuming they want our 1st for that deal, don't know how I feel about that either.
