I know we have injuries but losing to utah is unacceptable. Gibson has to get that rebound. Jimmy can't let gordon go by him twice in 2 possessions.

We need this All star break badly.

I agree but if u look at the team now. It'll be a mistake to trade Paul
Why, because we are going somewhere? Or so he can leave in off season anyway? He nor the rest of the Bulls are getting any younger, and he's a turnstyle on defense. You can't have a offensive minded coach and 3 or more horrible defenders and contend. He can go if we get a good wing defender that can create his shot. Take Doug, Snell and Niko too.

I got some bad news if you think an all-star break will fix this team, this roster is simply mediocre. We were like this last season, but with a rookie head coach at the helm of things, it has made things worse. Filled with a bunch of selfish, uninspired players who won't buy into their coach's gameplan. Then we question why the United Center doesn't get loud enough or why a fan's apathy grows each time this team loses.

I'll blame Hoiberg this season and his mistakes were not surprising considering it is his rookie year, but most of the blame should go to the nutjobs who brought back the same roster and thought it could magically get its act together under an offensive coach. You can't fit a square peg in a round hole.

I just don't get the incompetence of this front office....we have had holes in our roster for years now and they refuse to fix them....

Last night was just a really weird game. Honestly the big picture is that all the bad moves non activity bad draft picks etc continue to catch up to us and we are just mediocre

But small picture just looking at last nights game, refs had a personal vendetta against rose especially after the T, they deliberately swallowed they whistles, then utah got away with a lot of travels, over the backs, none more blatant than hayward pushing jimmy in the back on that inbounds play and then in the 4th and ot, Utah kept going to the hole because no matter how hard or soft the refs were just giving them calls. Honestly we got hosed last night

Doesn't change the fact that if we had a more quality roster we walk in there easily and get a win in a blowout.

honestly im leaning toward hoiberg not being a good coach

these are nba players, not youngsters at the aau. not high school kids at the pro am. these are professionals who have been acclimated into offensive basketball systems since they were 8-10 years old. honestly it shouldnt take more than training camp and maybe a month or so to start picking up on a offensive system. aint no coach got some out of this world system that is so difficult to figure out. and some of us bulls fans talk as if this is what hoiberg is. right now he like the chip kelly of the nba.

so if we are more than 50 plus games into the season and we still dont have a good offensive, from a coach sold to us as this offensive genius. it says a couple of things. either he was never that good to begin with, and his methods translate with college kids and not the pros, which wouldnt be the 1st time that has happened, there are college coaches who were kings in college but got to the league and stunk it up. or fred is not leading this roster as well as some thought, and its hard to think this team would not want to be led, considering they got rid of thibs and wanted a new voice, so consequently they would be receptive to the new coach coming in. the fact they are not responding, is telling me they dont believe in what the guy is talking about anymore, see he is signed here for 5 years, and many of them are already planning to get the hell outta here as they are realizing this shyt not going to work. and maybe that is what we are witnessing on the court.

i still think the remedy, is to get new faces, new voices in the locker room. new players who can bring more out the vets we already have here. maybe some players might not like it. bulls didnt like the move to trade oakley for cartwright, but doing that brought in 3 rings. pistons didnt like sending adrian dantley to dallas for mark aguirre but it brought them 2 rings. you cant be "comfortable" in a mediocre situation.

Hoiberg is sucking it up I agree, but this is the same team that was underperforming with Thibs last year and it's safe to say while Tom had his fukkups, he was not the biggest issue...it's the roster. I look at them play on the court and I don't think most of them know their role. The old guys need to go: Dunleavy, Hinrich, Gasol, Noah. We need younger, high IQ players who fit our coach and go in hand with the modern NBA. SF position is looking like a big question mark. Snell's confidence has stepped up this year, but he's still inconsistent and doesn't bring much to the table. Doug is in the same boat. He has not looked like a starter, though maybe we could keep him as some sort of three point specialist in the future. I don't even know how Dunleavy will perform when he returns, but with a player at that age, coming back from back surgery is very concerning.

KYP, know your personnel GarPax....

Edit: I don't see how they wouldn't know what Fred's talking about seeing as how collegiate players had no problem understanding it at Iowa State. Would be a damn shame if that really was the case.

There have been suggestions all through the thread....but we have Garpax.
im just not accepting nothing can be done

not when ive seen other franchises with much worst cap room situations and much worst assets make moves, even if it failed or succeeded. the point is not if the move worked or failed, the point is, the move was made in the 1st place.

2 picks in the 1st rd, and a 2nd rd pick

taking on anthony randolph contract

using 2 more 2nd rd picks to dump anthony randolph

for a guy who is a turnstile on defense, and effects the game in no other manner than hitting some outside shots, something we could have got for vet min in free agency.
