Noah the savior now?Just like Dunleavy right:mjlol:he's finished this team is trash with or without him
We have really been reduced to searching for crap reasons why this has fell apart

The coach that got max effort out of bums got fired

The league got better

And we couldn't keep up

All the standing pat, striking out in free agency and bad draft decisions caught up to us. The team quits because they know what they have on the floor is not good enough. Younger quicker teams are killing them and they are realizing it. They might have for a second let gar convince them it was all thibs but they see now it's the make up of the team. Jimmy is likely pissed because he realizes this and also sees the front office is not going to do anything about this.

Next they will start selling us on the "health" and if we had everybody blah blah blah.

:francis: carrot in front of the donkey trick.

Watch these dudes end up overpaying for leftovers just like the Boozer signing in the summer of 2010. The only reason these two clowns are still employed is because Reinsdorf does not care about this team unless the team is put under a bad light or profits are affected. The viewer ship has been down this season, so hopefully that gets his attention. I'm kinda hoping we miss the playoffs as well so Reinsdorf misses out on that playoff money. I don't want this dude getting anymore of the fan's hard earned money if he is not willing to give us a true contender.

It would be shortsighted to make the playoffs this season but at the same time the bulls front office will look dumb for firing thibs and their egos won't allow them to admit they fukked up.

Realistically it's gonna take the bulls missing the playoffs, fans stop going to games and ratings to continue to drop before the owner makes a move. The kings currently #9 in the lottery standings if they get some consistency and win a few more games they can get in that 11-14 slot if the bulls traded pau by the deadline and used the rest of this season to working on jimmy and rose chemistry and learning how to function in the offense fred wants to run while getting at least 1 maybe 2 lottery picks in this years draft that would be more beneficial than making the playoffs just to lose in the 1st or 2nd round.Doing that is how you become a treadmill team.Myles turner, paul george, kahwi leonard,cj mccollum, gordan heyward, rodney hood, drummond, fournier etc,etc the list goes on all drafted 9th or lower all either stars or solid contributors.

Ya dudes that went at Thibs, need to apologize! They never gave him or Rose nothing to work with in that limited window we had to get to the finals. For Thibs system to work you need guys that can move their feet on offensive and defensive possessions. They never gave Rose a number two when he was at his highest peak of dominance. For the past three years these dudes have drafted duds like Marquis Teague, Tony Snell, and Doug McDermott. Mirotic has shown us a pulse from time to time.but I'm very disappointed how he has allowed himself to go into a second year wall. Gasol at the age of 35 is our only big who has a skill set to score inside, but is starting to fade away from that. Butler still leads the league in NBA minutes even though those fools tried to pin that on Thibs. Heads need to roll like now!

yea, but the players had already tuned thibs out last season. they also had a lot of mediocre showings then too. i hate to keep bringing it up, because i dont agree that it was all thibs, and even when he got fired, i kept saying if they dont build the depth of the team, it wont matter who they hire, it will fail. but we had losses to under .500 teams at home, couldnt keep any consistency,. at that point, especially in the playoffs when thibs was continuing to run kirk and noah on the floor with jimmy and rose and kill their offensive spacing, clearly frustrating rose and jimmy, you might have needed a coaching change. im sure at some point the players bought into the idea that their struggles were all on thibs, his rotations, his long practices etc. but now im sure the players realize it wasnt him

because even with the rotations, the problem has always been the personnel of this team. that is whats blowing up in their face

This needs to happen because they need to be put on the Summer Jam screen.

All indications are Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf remains confident in the front office duo of GM Gar Forman and executive VP of basketball operations John Paxson, writes Nick Friedell of ESPNChicago.com, who calls for them to make changes to the roster with the deadline less than a week away.

:why:

Friedell wrote this yesterday it is what it is :manny:

I'm not really surprised at jerry loyalty to pax and gar, they have made his profit margins good, making him the 2nd most profitable owner in the league.

It's going to take immense pressure from the media and losing tickets sales to make jerry move.

Ticket sales likely will remain the same but the pressure mounting up from the media and the fans may coerce them to make some moves. Unfortunately the pressure isn't there enough to make them move by the deadline.

Especially when you consider you had people on the coaching staff who wanted other players in the draft.
I always felt like the Bulls organization either out thought themselves or they purposely passed on players they feel would blow up and they'd eventually have to pay them. This goes back a cpl decades.

Chicago probably has the best fans in all of sports, but most of the front offices are on the frugal side.

Cubs are spending tho, and I feel they'll win a world series because of it.
