well im on the record to be ready to move pau and noah

not even because i dont like them, but because we in a situation where the cap is going up, and we not even sure we will keep both these guys past this season. im ready to turn it over to the youth movement. portis is ready to step in. im good with the core of niko portis and taj and signing another guy in the off season.

once we get in 20-30 games i would check out which teams bubble been busted and see what we can turn noah and pau into, kirk too.

of course these dudes not doing anything, we likely just let them walk for nothing then turn the ranks over.

there is no way we would be a better team if we traded Pau this season

Noah is a different story, but what do you actually think we could get back for him? (answer is nothing)

Are we not contenders?

Front office has plenty of short comings, but we still have one of the strongest rosters in the league

Is there any point to moving Pau and Noah now?

i) You're not going to get equal value for what impact they both provide, as their respective value is at a career-low
ii) You've essentially wasted an entire offseason (with a new coach/system) moving two main pieces of your frontcourt for players that will need ample time to adjust
iii) Noah's still one of the better defensive anchors in the league
iv) Pau's still capable of putting up 20/10
v) There's no talented bigs on the market that would warrant risking what the Bulls already have in place.

PAU IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST BIGS IN THE LEAGUE...
TRADING HIM MAKES NO SENSE.

:camby:NOAH IS NOT A MAIN PIECE OF ANYTHING.

PLAY HIM LIMITED MINUTES JUST TO KEEP OTHERS FRESH.

I still think he will have value defensively & on the boards

Hes moving better than last year, he is just worthless on offense now

I just hope he doesnt cause any disruptions in the locker room

Who the hell knows what we can get for him.

But I'm not of the impression yet that we are legit contenders, so we coming from 2 places.

I do know losing noah and pau next season to teams willing to over spend for nothing in return is equally as bad and keeps us closer to treadmill. :manny:, and I def don't think it would be smart to pay pau more than what he making now to match and noah def not taking less.

Again it's not about not liking them, it's positioning ourselves for the future. Who knows what becomes available.

Reality is no one would want to come off the bench as a starter. I think it was just Jo saying how good he and Taj play and Hoiberg took it as a chance to come off the bench as opposed to explicitly stating it.

Like how you tell a teacher you don't work good with such and such, not explicitly stating that you don't wanna work with them.

I still rock with noah :manny: he fell off cuz thibs tried to kill him by the end of the 13-14 season he does need to finish better but he's still the bulls best interior defender

Aren't Noah's knees bone on bone? Or was that just a rumor?

He looks fresh now but it's only a matter of time before the season wears on him..

Even with him being fresh he's not that same high energy player that he was a few years ago.. Not for a lack of trying, his body just can't do it..

He's not a defensive liability but he's not the same defender he was..
