You would take Taj out of that trade, and give them either Gasol or Noah
And their pick back, and two of our first rounders
Is that even enough? Prob not
I was mainly looking at what a George Carl team would be looking for, not sure they would want Noah or Pau since they're expiring contracts. And if you add Noah it would be over the leeway for a trade to work financially. Kings would have to add another player
They cut down on the turnovers, they win these games. Simple as that. The TOs don't have anything to do with personnel or trades. They just have to put more of an emphasis on taking care of the damn ball. Period.

I just don't think it's realistic
At this point we need to hope Sacramento can leapfrog Charlotte recordwise (and not get passed by Portland or Milwaukee) but stay below the Jazz and we can eat off their lottery pick

I was able to write off the Atlanta game because we got into such a big hole and theyre a decent team
But letting the Wiz and Bucks run all over us is very disheartening and the marks of a team you can't trust

Before that it was about 2nd chance pts and offensive rebounding
Before that it was about defending the pick and roll.
When you have a mediocre squad, it will always be something. If the goal is to just be competitive, then I guess we can be alright with this, if the goal is to be elite and get past cleveland and whoever coming from out west, I don't see how anyone can look at this squad and believe it's good enough.

Yea it has, so have the other things.
I saw this squad drop 16 games to teams under .500, last season on they home floor, and get sent home by a cavs team with no love, no jr for 2 games and a hobbled kyrie.
I'm watching this same roster have its 3rd 3 game losing streak.
All I'm saying , I'm not way off in believing this team as currently constructed is not good enough. And I'm not crazy to be doubtful that the improvement will come internally. Turnovers, can't defend pnr, 2nd chance pts, offensive rebounding, etc all spells not good enough to me.
