truth is many teams miss on getting quality players in the draft.

but

this franchise sold itself as the teams wanting to build up from the draft and this was supposed to be their expertise

furthermore when you have advisers with the franchise telling you to take other players and you dont, that is what makes this all look bad

i dont care that they took teague, my anger is the fact you had will barton who worked out 3 times for the bulls and thibs and adams really wanted draymond green. and its hard to not think that the decision to take teague was out of spite to the guys gar clearly had a issue with

all you gave up to get doug? look i still think doug going to be a decent role player, but when you give up that much for a player he supposed to be a legit nba talent, not a dude who could be legit in 4 years. we would be lucky if he can become a kyle korver, mind you korver was a 2nd rd pick selected 51st. smh. makes it double the insult when we had a damn korver and dumped him for a TPE that we never used smh

now we finding out with the shot from K.C that thibs wanted dieng, and we took snell?

whats worst, is nearly half the bulls fans thougth dieng was the obvious choice due to the loss of asik smh

we should just change the title of this thread to = :francis:

Im one of the guys that believe just because player X has success in one spot doesn't necessarily mean he would have turned out the same else where, there's an exception to every rule though...Tony Snell is a special kind of ass, Mcdermott I'm still 50/50 because sometimes he looks like a baller and other times you watch him attempt to play D and he looks like ass.

I blame all this on the marquis teague pick it was a domino effect
I'm one of those guys too

I'm only venting about it because it was people in the organization who wanted the alternative players. Yet gar still drafted as he did. Not adhering to the advice of thibs and we paying for it now.

Even if they wouldn't have reached their full potential here due to lack of playing time etc, I think it's still safe to assume that draymond green, Lavine, dieng would be more solid contributors than doug snell and teague who out the league.

But because gar forman had it out for thibs and Adams we stuck with this group and falling quickly. This coming from a front office that prided itself on building through the draft

Gar pax need to :camby:

Giving up two 1st rounders and 2nd for Doug :francis:
It was more than that, 2 1st a 2nd rd pick and taking on the contract of Anthony randolph, then using 2 2nd rd picks to dump his salary to Orlando. So basically we gave up 5 picks, 2 1st and 3 2nd rd picks to get doug mcdermott and his ceiling is Kyle korver who was selected in the 2nd rd at the 51st pick

When you put it in that perspective, you realize why although doug may be a legit nba player he will never live up to what was given to take him.

The biggest thing that annoyed me with what they did when they moved up to draft Doug was the fact that there were plenty of other players both perimeter and bigs that could have been selected to bolster up what was then and still is a flabbynsick roster athletically.

Could have used those picks on some athletes man...

We'll get excited if Doug puts up 15 and he's 24 years old

Bulls are allergic to athletes

Bulls were afraid that by drafting further athletic players , they would get same injury worries x concerns they had wit rose :francis:

So they decided to recruit/draft unathletic.players who don't have the mobility/speed/athleticism to injure themselves .:mjlol:

Some how Doug 'still ' managed to do a MCL from sitting on the bench for to ' long ' and that duration took its toll on his body ..:yeshrug::jawalrus::manny::sas2:
