I like this write up. Not because I believe that a trade for a player of Boogie's caliber will happen, but rather it kills the notion that this team is dead in the water, and can't do anything because of some injuries. This was the framework of the trade that was suggested in the article:

It may seem steep to some, but closed mouths don't get fed :manny:. They put themselves behind the 8ball to where they'd have to potentially mortgage the future 'for the now' when they went into the season with an obvious over-crowded frontcourt. Besides, their track record in drafting players is shaky at this point despite what the casual fan has been led to believe.

Bottom line, if nothing gets done before the trade deadline, it's not because they couldn't do anything. It's simply because these pantywaist imbeciles lacked the creativity and fortitude to get something done. This pitiful 27-25 record thus far is a direct reflection of them, and if they can even look at themselves in the mirror & wear it then cool. Just expect pressure. There is no more collectively selling us these off-season contingency plans.

I just don't see it. I don't see the Heat wanting Pau with a team option and I don't see Whiteside staying in Sacramento. I don't see Sac trading for Whiteside when barely holding on to 8th seed. I don't see Garpax actually making phone calls.

how reputable is this info? Rudy would help a lot right now

Edit: never mind not buying it, the deadline will come and go and we'll have the same roster limping into the playoffs

Don't know how reputable the source is (dude claims to be some BTS Bulls Insider), but it does seem like the Kings are trying to move McLemore.

Would y'all entertain doing this?

Butler
Noah
Mirotic
McDermott

for

Cousins
McLemore
Gay

I would have to say no to this one. And yes to the initial offer breh is talking about on twitter.

Word.

Our starting lineup would go from having Snell or Dunleavy in it to adding Rudy Gay and having McLemore off the bench. They would have found a way to infuse quite a bit of athleticism into the roster with that move.

Just thinking long term - when Gasol, Noah and Gibson are gone - who do y'all have left in the frontcourt? Y'all will be back to square one. :ld:
