Is he wrong about Jimmy tho? :ld:
He's not, but do you get rid of a player of his caliber for Fred Hoiberg? Or do you say, "You know what, maybe we got the wrong coach" and get somebody else? Blatt got canned after a Final's appearance and the top record in the East a year later.

This idea of catering to an unproven head coach with a mysterious system, by moving an All-NBA caliber player, is so idiotic I don't know where to begin.

If you can't make your "system" work with arguably the second best 2-way player in the league you're a shytty coach.

:heh:

True, but in this case... for Cousins? Who would probably walk all over Hoiberg, and who isn't exactly a good "fit" for his system either.
I'm not sure what's funny breh

Jimmy has been diva like, he does play against the offense, he has aired out his coach to the media. This isn't even media created bullshyt, it's all happened

I mean, yes he's a great player but you think he's untouchable? Cousins can be the number one option of an elite team, a Jimmy can't

You know you can make the trade and not keep Hoiberg too?

It's basically would you rather move forward with Rose, Portis, Cousins or Rose, Jimmy, Portis? Y'all leaning towards Jimmy over Cousins surprises me

The trade is never happening but I think I'd side taking Cousins. He needs to grow up alot and reel in his game, but he can be the most dominant player in the game right now

Not even a debate. Love Jimmy, he's an amazing player but Cousins is the best center since prime Dwight. He's averaging 26 and 11 at 25 years old. Like you said itll never happen though.

Not for me, if jimmy for cousins was on the table, I def would consider it.

Then clear the decks and make a go after durant in the off season, and if rose continues to show all star talents, would be hard for durant to say no to joining with rose and cousins with only the cavs in their way.

But we all know gar pax would jack that up. Probably give durant Jordans and tell him to try them on or some dumb shyt like that :heh:

My argument is jimmy vs fred, and in that case I'm taking jimmy all day. Outside of rotations, I still don't see what the hell hoiberg has implemented in the system. We are worst across the board from last year and leagues worst than thibs 1st 2 years. So if jimmy has a issue with the coach, I'm looking at the coach crazy.

Cousins puts up monster numbers on a underachieving team. He's been doing it for years... and one could say that he can't be a number one option on an elite team because he can't even sniff the playoffs on the team he's on now.

Kind of like Kevin Love... put up monster numbers, was called the best PF in the NBA while in Minnesota, but is a horrible defender and a questionable leader at best. While Cousins game will translate more because he's better than Love... I just don't think Cousins is THAT much better or makes that much more of an impact on a team than Jimmy Butler.

Just my take

I think he is. He has some growing up to do, needs to get more focused and eliminate aspects of his game, but he is an absolute monster.

Hes not empty stats, what he provides should be translating to wins. He's on arguably (is it even arguable?) the worst run franchise in the league. I can't blame him for their failings. What has he ever had around him?

@CHICAGO you wouldn't trade Jimmy straight up for Boogie? I'm surprised that you both would lean towards Jimmy

I am by no means souring on Jimmy, I just think Cousins is clearly the better and more valuable player

I just don't see why Sacramento makes the deal .. They are competitive for first time in a long time

Why n the f would they do this ..the deal doesn't make them better ..doesn't improve there chances of the playoffs

So I kall ducktales :duck:

McLemore is only player I see them part in wit

If anything send bellini back in a package for McDermott

I wouldn't necessarily call Sacramento competitive right now, they quit on their coach and have been horrible lately
