man, all the music that is popular is all fifteen to twenty years dated.

edm, autotune, to rap is all some Madonna/cher meets rays of light, + roni size/mass attack/tricky maxinquaye + bone + twista meets snypaz + luke.

shyt, the legal lockdown records that are popular are inferior slower bpm or screwed poison clan records in general scope.

there really is no music television shows and most importantly no, box.
so, these kids really don't get to experience enough music to be well rounded.
