That ain’t what u said

You said leave music on all day when they not at home
a lot of people do leave music on all day. most of the people i have seen do it have dogs so they leave on the tv or music.

either way, this might be a smear campaign and inflated stats at the same damn time. This conversation happened about Jay damn near 20 years ago when people were all :jbhmm: about the label buying a certain amount of records.

they think its a conspiracy ....:mjlol:

Here is an article from HHD that breaks it all the way down so you idiots can get your facts straight.

Rumor Mill - REPORT: TIDAL FALSIFIED BEYONCÉ, KANYE NUMBERS
It's the same journalist at the same newspaper, who is saying this.

They are only neglecting the major fact that it wasn't Tidals 3 million subscribers that generated the streams, it was the 30-90 day free option.
nikkas would rather believe a cac journalist from the same country Jay copped Tidal, than believing that Jay-z, Beyonce and Kanye wouldn't risk their freedom to defraud from all musicians to funnel 2 million to a major label.

The article said ”convicted drug smuggler” not drug dealer. The person is Desiree Perez

The person who they refer to as ”a former Israeli intelligence officer” is Lior Tibon.

If this is true how is it a ”smear campaign”?
I remember that piece, It was an interesting read. shyt had me thinking Ol girl was in the room like...

giphy.gif

She knew some cats down in the PR, but she wasn’t snitching on no nikkas from Brooklyn.

those people were accounted for and it was proven they lied about that 3 million subscriber number too. It's way under that based on royalty payments that tidal iself paid out to the music rights holders

Streaming is the biggest music fraud shyt ever.. lol
So why are major labels reporting major increases in revenue all due to streaming? Why is Spotify worth 30 billion bucks? :gucci:

Streaming might make it easier to commit accounting fraud, but let's not act like it wasn't easy to report false shipping with physical cd's. Still fraud, you've got to pay out 70% of your revenue and auditors will check that your numbers are legit or report you. I hope that you understand that this is serious allegations of white collar crime and not just some game.

No they were not accounted for, and nothing has been proven or someone would be going to court for defrauding investors.
Now I don't follow Norwegian news, but if one journalist says it's like this and the person says no it's not. The person saying that it's out of the normal should supply the proof.

Not some weak ass reasons like the wildest Kanye stan in the world streamed TLOP for 5 hours in one day.

My nikka it wasn’t just a “journalist” there were forensic scientist at a major university and not to mention a whistle blower gave them accesss to a tidal hard drive with data Tidal themselves didn’t deny was real, if you read there statement they said it was “manipulated” :dead: that’s bullshyt

They released a 78 page report detailing why it’s not normal

Yes I've seen this and they're saying that the data is not from Tidal but from the journalist.

“When 16 of the world’s biggest pop stars, one a convicted cocaine smuggler and a former Israeli intelligence officer was not able to obtain enough customers to Jay Z’s Tidal, the company began to inflate subscription numbers,” the report alleges.

These are the type of lines these people are using.

Further the report is based on a set of assumptions

In order to provide a reproducible and reputable finding, it is important that we state our assumptions on which our findings and analysis is based. In preparing this report, we assume: • the data was acquired legally; • the data we have received is complete for the time periods provided; • DN has not altered the data in any significant manner; • DN has provided us the data in its original form; • any manipulation of the data has either occurred at the server or users’ end and not the subject of being altered in transit between both; • the time provided by the client will be sufficient to determine whether any manipulation of the data has occurred; • DN has been forthright and honest with us; • DN is not using this report to discredit us, nor any of our affiliated organisations; • DN is using this report for journalism and not for illegal or immoral purposes; and • DN will fairly and accurately report our participation in this project.

Just out of personal experience, but whenever I'm on Drake's artist section on Apple music (specifically the top songs area)
His top record (noticed this with God's Plan and Nice 4 Wat) always instantly plays if I make a different song selection

Literally hustling that extra 30sec to be counted for a song stream

Anyone else experience this?
