I don't know who that person is or what they claim to do. Nor am I concerned about them when you asked me about what I do.
The person you're talking to right now who does not think about this issue beyond this topic.

I asked what you're actually doing to address the reality you believe is coming to pass where they're about to start snatching folks who's family's been here for hundreds of years up, and it amounted to the same as someone like myself who is indifferent towards the issue.

The fact that all you're doing amounts to the same as someone who doesn't think it's that deep tells me it isn't that deep. If it was, I'd expect you to actually get into movements, protests, all that on top of what you're already doing. Y'all are running with the narrative that they're about to start randomly snatching folks up, y'all really need to actually be taking that seriously then and getting out there.

I respect the honesty in your answer tho :yeshrug:

Criminals in America like going to jail. In El Salvador, they no like it. If it's not abused, I'm open to trying something new with our violent criminal class. People are tired of being told what hats they can wear and what colors they can wear.
You’re making the leap that what you consider a crime is the same thing Trump considers a crime.

It’s only been three months and he’s already trying to give Tesla vandals 20 years and he’s also continues to claim that Ukraine started the war but Russia killing a bunch of churchgoers was a mistake.

address the reality you believe is coming to pass where they're about to start snatching folks who's family's been here for hundreds of years up,

Is not the reality I believe. In my original post I listed several notable examples of citizens being snatched up or worse (killed) who's families have been here for hundreds of years.

And there's plenty more examples. This isn't some conspiracy theory or fear mongering. These are legitimate events that have actually happened and these stories and plenty more have been cited and discussed on this board. Not some shyt that happened 25-30+ years ago.

You either see that and acknowledge it, or you don't. If you don't then it's a lost cause because there's no magic number or additional instances where its finally going to click and your eventually going to come around.

Doing something just to do it isnt equal to doing something meaningful. You can join 20 "movements" but you still have to vote. You can join 30 movements. Being in a "movement" isn't equal to casting your vote. Being on the boat isn't equal to rowing the boat.

Sure it's fun to be a part of something but if you can't stand on your own 2 feet and articulate your point clearly it don't mean anything. Theres too many videos of those people "from the crowd" asked about a particular bill or policy and when the mic is in front of their face or the camera is on its "uh uh well, umm, uhh, uhh".

You have to look in the mirror. Are you the person that goes to these meetings and speaks out of do you just go to clap and cheer?

I mean I guess we seem to be in alignment in the thought that we are extremely likely to not have to worry about anything with regards to this particular issue and thus shouldn't really be stressing too much about this beyond voting. It's no need for movement work, protests, etc with regards to this particular issue, just voting will suffice. If your family has been here for multiple generations you're good. If you think otherwise, you should be out there protesting and finding movements to support along with your typical voting/townhall participation. It's pretty much fear mongering if you're not taking any action deeper than voting.:manny:

I mean those posts sound outstanding, but if he's anything like the posters on this board, it's like what are you doing then? What movements are you supporting, what protests are you participating in, what are you doing?

Voting, sitting in townhalls and raising my kids.

Oh.:unimpressed:

Nothing. Cause I know Trump hasn’t made his move yet.

The only thing I’m doing right now is talking to people at work and other places who aren’t keeping up with what’s going on so misinformation isn’t spreading or people aren’t paying attention .

Heard a black dude parroting Musk lies about Social security and took the time to explain what was wrong with what he was saying.

Why would an illegal immigrant get brought back to a country that he illegally entered in the first place?

:mjlol:
That’s due process.

Why are there dudes on death row for crimes we know they committed. Cause of the chance an innocent person gets caught up we make the process for everyone.

he wasn’t supposed to be deported that way.

trump literally can still deport him. Just bring him back first.

Yeah, but if I'm hearing things right "it'll be too late by the time it gets to us" is the rhetoric, so these people need to be active now and sharing their movements/protests/etc on this board. Like don't sit up here telling me about we're heading to Nazi Germany and all you're doing is voting and going to townhalls. You better have some kind of movement I can check out and be a part of some organizing outside of your voting and townhall meetings. You gotta be doing something, to me it don't look like you believe that shyt yourself.

I agree with everything but the bolded.

Nobody is being stopped or questioned where there family is from or how long they've been here.

Anyone with black skin is literally one 911 call away, one accusation away from false imprisonment or death.

Its something to be cognizant of every time you/a black person leave the house.

"911....a black man is running down the street, he looked into my living room. I think he's casing houses, he was looking into my house. I'm gonna follow him in my truck until you guys show up."

"911....this black man walked out of Walgreens pretty fast and hopped in his car and left pretty quickly. I think he stole something. I'm gonna follow him and give you his license plate. Hold on, he's driving kinda of fast now. I think he's trying to run from me, I'm gonna chase him."

No black person regardless of how secure they may be or feel should just :manny: thinking "nothing like that could/will happen to me."
