Tried to be the female kevin hart but she is too attractive to be laughed at by other women and not funny enough to stand on her jokes without the extra shyt. I didnt know her films bomb’d that bad.
the boss movie with rose and salma looked like it had potential but i was sitting there cringing at the corniness and terrible writing. Cant even imagine them 2 even being coworkers let alone best friends.

Whoopi started as a comedian, it wasn't at comedy clubs per say, but she did one woman comedy performances that made it all the way to Broadway, which is how she made it to Hollywood. I say that to say that she established herself as funny and knew how to command an audience, something Haddish had yet to show she can do. Everything I've seen her in where she has that opportunity she bombs. She just ain't got it like they thought.

She's moderately funny... She can't carry a movie alone but can be real good as a sidekick. He stand ups are pretty bad. She's trying to follow the Kevin Hart playbook and being everywhere which I'm not mad at. She getting paid

But aside from Night School [which can be largely attributed to Kevin Hart] the 3 movies above she was lead or co-lead and they all flopped.
Her recent Netflix stand up special didn't really make any waves either, no one i know personally has talked about it or watched it for that matter.
