Its so hard to get a help desk job in Phoenix

I had 1 interview that I didnt get
Another phone interview where I was dodnt make it past the hiring manager

And a bunch of recruiters telling me to reply confirm and never following back up

I'm like goddamn these are jobs that pay around the same slightly above low wage that I make now and I've done it before

I feel your pain. I got my A+ cert in July and I still can’t get any help desk jobs. I’m in DC as which is supposed to be one of the leading sectors for IT jobs. I don’t know if it’s because I have little experience or something else.

The only chance you have in Phoenix is to catch a mass hiring for a project

As somebody who works in IT and had that struggle years ago, I guarantee the problem is either (or both) of the below -

1. Your location sucks
2. Your resume sucks


My suggestion is to step your resume game up, get some help from from a Job Counselor if need be.

If you still don't get any calls after you fix up your resume, might be time to think about relocating.
