I’ve never connected my tv to Ethernet or WiFi. Use a Shield for all my streaming needs. Smart TVs UI usually suck ass

Me too, i only connect my tv to wifi every three or four months tho, just to update to the latest firmware if any

People swear they be moving like The Irishmen or something lol. What's the point of NOT connecting your TV to Wifi when everything else in your crib (laptops, phones, tablets, switches, and etc) are already connected to it lol. I've had no problems with my Samsung Smart TV from '20. No ads on the tv, none of that. Im sure my data is being sold to 3rd party companies but again, just having an email address puts you in that realm.

Idk I just don't want to be hit with INTRUSIVE ADS when I turn on my TV I guess. It's a tv why am I getting ads during the menu

those smart tv's are HUGE security risks and I never connect mine
I use an apple tv as the "smart" part
