Just got back from the theater. Movie was dope. No Dragonball movie or show is ever going to top the OG run pre-Buu saga, but the movie was a lot of fun.
The animation was fire, and it was nice seeing the characters squad up near the end. (Goten, Trunks, 18 and Krillin).
Watching Piccolo and Gohan get their shine was a nice throwback to the Saiyan arc, and you had some clever cameos and references thrown in.
(One scene had framed photos of Commander Red and Colonel Violet in the background, and one of the henchmen was a dead ringer for Sourman from Dr Slump.)
