whats wrong with the divisions now

Nothing but people wanting change for the sake of change. The Easternmost markets are in the East and the Westernmost ones are in the West and it's split right down the middle. These here are nothing more than solutions looking for a problem.

Proper divisions create rivalries, which gives the season more drama, givin' both fans and players rivalries to look forward to, increases revenue from so-called rivalry games, and makes geographical sense. Win-win for everyone :win:

The way I've proposed makes much more sense than how it's set up now, I'm certainly not just suggestin' this "for fun" or some shyt like you're suggestin'

My Pops Forever RIP
I came in ready to rip the threadstarter's alignment but it's not that bad. It's never gonna be perfect because there are just more teams in the central /eastern time zones. Minny should really be in the East for travel reasons. They don't have a Western Conference opponent anywhere near them, so it makes sense to make Milwaukee suffer too (even though it would be weird to see Bucks /Bulls in different conferences even though they're 90 miles apart)

I'd probably just scrap conferences and create 5 divisions of 6.

Teams already play divisional opponents more than anyone else.

u cant compare to the NFL
were u only can play 13 outta the 32 teams

Just sayin', there's a point where things just aren't acceptable/make sense whatsoever. And of course, an NBA divisional realignment would be even more appropriate due to the fact of the rigorous schedule that's played.

Something needs to change.. Memphis going to the East would make it more competitive.. Seeing teams with .600+ win records not going to the play offs and seeing people with .400 win records going to the play offs all because of the division they play in is just fukking dumb

how can you crown the best team with a championship ring, if some of the best teams dont even make the play offs :snoop:

NBA just needa take the top 16 records in the league and put them in the play offs. Thats it.
