As well they should have. As long as some of these games have been in the works, they should have something to show for it. I think where these events fall short is there's no scope for alpha builds or tech demos. One of the things that comes to mind was some early tech demonstrations that Peter Molyneux was doing with Fable II at E3. Clearly half baked and unfinished but a glimpse at what could be coming.
