At some point in 2042 someone will make a thread called "Its time to admit that the 20's was a fun decade" as they sit there listening to rappers that sound like R2D2 freestyling on meth over a beat made from TV static and the sound of DNA being hollowed out.
00s was the right mix of real life and the internet 
You still went out and did shyt without thinking about the online world/social media. But the internet was still cool when you got home to post on forums or watch vids. And cellphones weren't laptops just yet.

Those were the dayswon't argue that because those were my teenage years and I love the 90's
but when people talk about the 80's with those cheesy cliches "sky's were the limit!" "you felt anything was possible!"
that shyt was true, it's hard to really explain, it was just the optimism was palatable, you had to have just experienced it.

xbox 360 brought online gaming to the masses, it was the wild west then, them lobby parties was lit, now on ps3 everybody got privacy settings and even more ignorant and provincial, and they shovel out ports of the same games that weren't great in the first place
