nah. post 9/11 war days weren't fun. economy was stagnant.
90s was it. tech era was new, style was new, innovation, cell phones evolving, money just everywhere. it was called the golden era for a reason, you were a kid so you didnt know how much you could make, but even just weed, people had money out their ears . just everything was new, clinton was president and people were making so much money (if you knew how)

I still remember burning a bunch of CDs off limewire when we was still in the hoodAll music was free on limewire. Movie's leaked before even hitting the theater. But most people hadn't gone fully digital yet, so I could burn cd's and dvd and sell them to people for a quick buck. Literally a 100 pack of blank cds could earn you as much as selling weed.

breh in 99, I rented a 2 bedroom with a roommate, and paid $300. i made $900 every 2 weeks as an 18-19 yr old. basically, 2 bedroom in LA for $600, I paid half while making $1800, $300 was nothing, I used to dj and buy vinyl for the same as rent just cause. and could still save something. shiet my mom moved to the burbs for a second and got a 2 bedroom for $800 in the nice area.
00s..... once the wars started and that damn real estate bubble hit, half your check went to rent

The tech bubble was crazy in the early 2000's. Folks forget that's also what drove things. Yahoo and google were printing money. The real estate bubble also was crazy. Everyone and they momma was flipping houses. Pre 2006 it seemed like there were a million ways to make money. The recession in 2008 is what stopped the party. We never recovered fully to this day.

The 20's will never be considered a fun decade. I don't know why y'all keep saying this. Every generation talk about the next, but truth is the 70s-90s, followed by early 2000s were the best and can't be topped.
These days you can't even say anything without hurting somebody's feelings.

You could literally be surrounded by the worst "everything" ever and it would still be amazing due to these factors alone as long as it was minimally stimulating because you'd fill in the blanks.
