Nah breh, the one downside to airfryers is they're terrible for scaled food production. So I'm definitely not using it for Thanksgiving.
And my stove isn't one of the newer ones that's got the airfryer built in.

I love mine. Haven’t used my oven since I got it over a year ago, Ninja Foodi XL. But yes all an air fryer is, is a small convection oven. And my regular oven is a convection oven too.Now don’t get me wrong.
I’m sure your air fryer is getting a lot of use.
It’s a very convenient appliance. And I have one myself.
But it just seems to me that this whole thing was just a marketing ploy.
There’s nothing special about an air fryer.
It isn’t actually frying anything.
An air fryer is just a convection oven.
And we’ve had convection ovens for 50-60 years. But I guess it’s cooler to sell the name “air fryer” to the public than it is to sell “convection”
It feels like a lot of old reliable items are being repackaged or reimagined to make more money.
For thousands of years a mop was just fine. You bought it. It lasted a long time. Now you got a damn swiffer. And you have to buy sheets every few weeks.
What’s next?
Air Fryer is a must have for me, it cooks things in ways an oven can't, it's faster, and lets you cook things without having to heat your whole oven/house up.
Also while they are similar, it's not the same as a convection oven, air fryers tend to have faster air flow. Plus they are much cheaper.

I've had some pretty legit fried chicken in the air fryer, the real weakness is its not capable of replacing the BBQ grill, the flavor of the charcoal is just undefeated. Steaks and ribs in the air fryer just doesn't come close.
