He’s in a 3rd year of a bottom out that usually happens with new hires to bad programs. The first 2 years you can typically keep your head above water because you have the hype and recruiting/transfer boost that comes with a new coach. The 3rd year is when things get messy because you no longer have the depth and upperclassmen. Plus relying on the transfer portal in an era where you don’t have the money or prestige to compete with the big boys was always foolish. The portal should be a place to plug holes not build a program around.

Year 5 is typically when you know what you have in a coach. If Deion with his health problems makes it there remains to be seen.

I think they’ve provided good comedy over the last 3 years. Them running on the field smack talking Oregon then getting mercy ruled will always be one of the best days of college football.

Why is it ridiculous when he broke all the Colorado QB records? Most Passing yards in a season, most touchdowns, highest completion percentage, highest QBR , etc.. List goes on. He is a Colorado QB legend just off the numbers.

Watching guys like salter out there struggle, I actually thing Shaduer is severely under-rated and not given enough credit. There were a lot of close games last year that they should have lost if it wasnt for miraculous plays by Shaduer and Travis. That's the main difference between their winning record last year and their losing record this year. My biggest issue with Dieon is the the team isn't getting better over time and they are making the same mistakes. The coaching is also making the same mistakes including play calling, lack of half time adjustments, and things around clock management etc. Its not just about losing.. its about how you lose. And the way they are losing shows they are not getting better or learning from mistakes week to week.

People bought this point up as soon as he got to Colorado. Once the wheels and hype fell off midway through season 1 at CO the excuse was Prime would need a couple of years to rebuild.
Well that time is now. He should get a couple more seaons imo but the clock is ticking

You can argue who is better etc.. but you cant argue numbers. He got all those school QB records... More school records than they guys you named above. It is what it is. You can disagree with him being honored before the guys above but its not something ridiculous or totally not warranted like you are trying to claim. Shaduer is not bronny james.. He got an elite resume and awards and accolades. He was 8th in heisman voting.
