Several things here:

1. African immigrants do similarly, so this isn't just an Asian thing and might have to do with more so being immigrants - I wonder why Hispanic immigrants don't have a similar highlighted culture. Because of the jobs American society molds them towards?

Because as OP & the self-haters in this thread refuse to acknowledge, Eastern immigrants are selected to be here, while Latinos just come.

The dummies in this thread are comparing NATIVE Black Americans with the top of the top immigrants from India, China, & Africa, who are brought here (or allowed to come here) by our government because they have money & or skills that American corporations or our government find valuable.

It'd be like comparing the children of NBA players, who have all of the knowledge & wisdom of their fathers to random civilians, who don't have the knowledge or money they do.

We bring doctors, scientists, & STEM people here from those countries, of course their children are going to do better than the children of car mechanics & McDonald's employees.

The average America is smarter than 90% of the people in their shyt hole countries, which is why they're coming here.

The Hispanics who come here are just regular people, so of course they're not going to do better than regular Americans, who have the benefit of being native to this country.

What about the other groups that excel?

The same cacs that teach the kids, have no obligation to make sure they receive the best education, suspend them and expel them more than their counterparts and the cacs don't get fired regardless of how many students pass or fail.

The tragic part is it is very damaging and it doesn't take much. Tell any child they aren't good at something 3 times and see if they still have an interest, see if they rise up and overcome or avoid it. Now do that every year for 10 years and say things like "you just don't work hard enough" "you're just not as smart as white people" "people like you just don't do well in science "

I've been working on a theory for a while. I think the children have watched us struggle and don't see the point. Black kids aren't stupid. Why spend your whole youth on something that won't yield returns? In many cases, they don't know a single well-educated bp irl. If they do, it's an uncle who went military and married out, or the educated, but never-married auntie whose life is just as raggedy as all the other aunties. I mean, really think about the examples they see. Or on a national level, Obama getting dragged for being perfect on paper, famous bp always in some dumbass sexual scandal, etc, etc.

I don't think they believe its worth it and I see their point.

It's us. We need to do better. We need to beat this system and show them how to do the same. That's what they're waiting for. Early millennials had the Cosby's on tv and plethora of black professionals irl, at the church, at the dr's office, etc to give us the game and show us the path. They don't have that any more and haven't for quite a while. This is a new game that requires new strategies.

In order to change the mindset start with your own house.

Don't get me started on cats not being able to make PTA meetings and student teacher conferences, but break their neck to attend sports games. Seen it with PLENTY of my own family and friends.

You'll make time and spend money towards the real things you value.

Our people (FBAs) are not in a position in this country to not value the importance of education. It's not even about attending college either. Start with just getting a high school education. Then develop skills in other areas whether it be trades,college, etc.
