not to go too off topic or anything but i wonder what the endgame of destroying american education really is

i understand that our government wants to keep us americans somewhat stupid and docile, but were gonna get to a point where the people cant run the machines anymore. the mass deportation of immigrant workers really freaks me out because they're basically engineering a mass famine. food is rotting in the fields, insect populations are dying off en masse, especially bees and butterflies. no pollination means a die off of plant life. we can engineer ways to grow food on a changing planet but even then you got people demonizing solar (and nuclear).

it wont matter anyway. we're also losing our topsoil.

i wonder if they have some kind of extinction event planned for americans. they're trying to destroy the CDC too, like they're pulling every safety net away.

people in my area cant even handle waiting 10 minutes in the drive-thru for a burger. what are they gonna do when theres no more bread trucked in?

i got a pistol... but honestly its probably for myself. i dont want to die in a famine.

We're never going to be honest about this conversation. And it's not even color wise with other black ethnicities worldwide.

In order to change the mindset start with your own house.

Don't get me started on cats not being able to make PTA meetings and student teacher conferences, but break their neck to attend sports games. Seen it with PLENTY of my own family and friends.

You'll make time and spend money towards the real things you value.

Our people (FBAs) are not in a position in this country to not value the importance of education. It's not even about attending college either. Start with just getting a high school education. Then develop skills in other areas whether it be trades,college, etc.

There's a reason they wanna keep us us uninformed and mindless zombies.

Even some of our most decorated Scholars that are pushing college and higher education aren't specific of detailed in their advice. So most Blacks think any education (degree) will suffice. We brag about college enrollment numbers, but most of low level degrees.

That's another issue (downfall of ours), we just accept and run with good sound ideas without doing the research and getting a deep understanding of how things really work and needs to be done. We don't really have a deep understand in Politics and the laws.

We can blame a lot of racism, but now most issues are self inflicted and we should have combatted by now.

There’s so much more to life than trying to get a 4.0 to hopefully get into a “good school” to go work a job that’s unfulfilling like the “dumb” people who work unfulfilling jobs as well. Too many people have lost the plot on finding balance in all things. You got 18 years to be a kid/carefree, you shouldn’t be suicidal, on medication or have zero social memories to set yourself on the path to success.

Why do you brehs do this weird thing where you project negative characteristics on another race to excuse the fact that black people as a collective are failing?

I work in tech and as a result know plenty of Asians. Yes “tiger parenting” is a real thing and some Asians did grow up in strict, borderline abusive households. But like anything else the prevalence is largely exaggerated and the majority of young successful Asians in this country had normal ass childhoods that involved sports, partying, romance, etc just like any other kid.

Obviously an extreme example but Jeremy Lin was an incredible basketball player growing up who also went to Harvard and then ended up in the NBA. I doubt his household was abusive given how much free time is needed to hone your basketball skills to get to a pro level. They simply instill great moral compasses in their kids and they know how to balance all aspects of life including academics correctly.

And what about other races? White people are stereotypically the most relaxed, hands off, “soft” parents of any race and yet plenty of their kids are academic superstars who go on to be succsssful.

80% of black kids are not proficient in reading or math. EIGHTY. You dudes make it sound like you have to give up everything and lock yourself in a room glued to books just to have base level proficiency in these subjects. We not even asking for 4.0 GPAs here just literally being average, which doesn’t require any large sacrifice whatsoever.

At what point do we stop making excuses and start looking inward?

China & South Korea literally start picking kids in like kindergarden to force into sports.

But in the big picture over 80% of black kids reading and math proficiency is below average and all the gymnastics nikkas doing to hide from the truth is not going to help

Reminds me of my 10th grade social studies teacher, a black woman, who had a sit down with us and tried to explain a similar situation about how we're dead last when it came to test scores, and the other black kids just laughed.

Im not the type to ignore history, but this plays a part too, thats undeniable.
