That main menu takes me back :wow: GoW was the first game that showed me my PS2 laser was dying. First time I opened up some electronics on my own to replace it  breaking that warranty sticker :sadcam:

Who’s buying these next gen systems to play these old ass games :scust:

Go download an emulator for that

But niccas in another thread was talking bout buying the remastered Mass Effect when it drops and I recall cats running to buy FF7:usure:

Also, not everyone played them games.

If I played Resistance today that’s a new game to me:mjgrin:

Retro gaming enthusiasts are managing to get PlayStation 2 games up and running on Microsoft’s Xbox Series S/X.

By using some tricks inside the Xbox Series S and X‘s built-in developer mode, gamers are managing to emulate PlayStation 2 titles on the new tech – and emulate them

:francis: Sony needs to stop playing games

I see you trying to show the ppl how to eat properly :shaq:
Spend 500 dollars on a console to play games you can buy at a yardsale
Why buy demons souls for $5 from a yard sale when you can pay Sony $60 for a new one :francis:
you literally just defined the “next gen” experience for xbox users
There's more next gen Xbox games incoming than there are ps5 games. Well at least 1st party wise
When Xbox players will get no new games anytime soon and they've been eating of Gamepass for so long they're out of games there too that they now have to emulate their competition's old games to their next-gen console just to have something to play. :wow:
Gamepass has about 300 games at a time now, and new games enter the rotation every week. You know how netflix continues to get new content? That part except gamepass is more consistent
Can you put wii games on it?
Dolphin emulator works like a charm and is part of the package
How is a remake the same? Was the final fantasy 7 remake the same experience as the old version?
Nobody mentioned FF7 which isn't even FF7 as much as that's just the dumbass name they chose to name a completely different game. We did mention demons souls and that "remake" is identical to the original minus an extra hidden door that has armor in it. You probably like "that secret door technically makes it a remake" it's not out of the scope/realm of BULLshyt reality I've seen demonstrated here
Dev mode was available last gen too.
Last gen systems were much weaker so they wasn't as capable. The leap in power is why now new systems work and older systems work better
Every time I hear Xbox. Old ass games follow. Like every time. Is the Xbox brand allergic to new shyt

Skyrim runs at 60 FPS :gladbron:

:beli:
And outside of PS4's Spider-Man DLC the retail game and ps3's demons souls remastered we have the same games and you and the rest of your like circle jerk over "this game runs at 109fps on ps5 and 104fps on Xbox"
VRR makes the Xbox version better regardless but who cares, a few launch titles run smoother on ps5 at the moment...
u gotta go thru hoops to do this shyt..i remember i did it on reg xbox one without having to do all this...granted it was only snes games tho thru a web browser i think
No hoops, put games in your one drive account which is free. b They go to nesbox.io or something and you load the game fromn there from your one drive account. Simple
Doesn’t this also void your warranty?
No

Or how bout everyone don’t wanna play or even plays on pc? I rather have a system where all the games I want for sure gonna come on day one with old games as a bonus. Not having to configure and troubleshoot constantly >>>>>>>> nobody gives a fukk bout of gaming
