Many of those 90s classics sampled those jazz breakd and loops. I got put onto a lot of artists mainly by looking at the liner notes of my favorite albums back in the day and seeing who and what producers sampled.

Yep. That's how I got into Jazz so I'll never say fukk Hip Hop but after getting into it, it's not hard to see that Jazz is more developed ... it should be because it's older ... Hip Hop still has some growing to do ...

That's what I'm saying. I'm only 23 next month and I see this shyt. It's more about being a human advertisement and pushing a false opulence at this point. Sure there's "underground" rappers bringing something but when talent stays underground and only 2 or 3 artists who truly got something to say can eat...that's not a thriving artform. It's fake.
