I honestly get revolted every time someone says that you can enrich your life by finding that special person - through a relationship, kids, etc

My wholeness comes from someone else? What kind of co-dependent monstrosity are people shooting for out here? You should have that puzzle solved before you start looking at others like a solution to your life....
And it damn sure ain't easy, it fukking sucks. But its gotta be one of the most casually destructive suggestions out there.
