Many people who pursue a career in the performing arts strive off validation and recognition. They need to constantly be in the spotlight or they'll go mad. If I were a multimillionaire hollywood actor I'd just retire and move to another country. There's no reason for me to keep making movies when I have millions in the bank already. (but alot of these idiots live a high expense lifestyle with multiple homes, cars, etc. so they need to keep working to keep the lifestyle)
