It happens though. I know a lot of people, relevant in this shlt too, who despise the current manifestation of hip-hop/rap.
In fact, LOTS of my friends do too, including my wife who started hating hip hop when she was nearly hit with a flying chair when a fight broke out at a Master Ace album release party back in the day.
I'm older, obviously, and very few of my cronies can vibe with GBE or even Meek Mill like I still can.

to me these days, can't tell how I'll react to it in the clubs though .Rock was just like hiphop a channel for the youth to express themselves and the parents thought it was devilish music but as time went on both genres have grown up.
