No this is not "LLC Twitter" "Boss" talk

Every time I decided to sign up for a set schedule type of job, it's like I was in prison. I'm thinking like Wait hold up, you gotta show up to work EVERYDAY at this time? :what::what: :what:

Don't matter if it's showing up to work or work from home. Don't matter if it's 9 to 5, 6 to 2, 12 to 8, 3 to 11, 10 to 6, etc... Set times, I just can't function

I realized all the jobs that I loved never had a set time or location. When I was a traveling Automation Technician, drove Trucks, Refrigeration service, Outside Sales. shyt is amazing :blessed::blessed::blessed:

I would travel across the country or just around the city, take lunch when I want to, work when I want to, start conversations with random people. I'm sorry, this is too amazing for me, just how I'm wired I guess :manny:

I had the same epiphany yesterday.

I recently moved into a project management position and it’s Monday-Friday (plus being available outside of business hours) while my last position had no set schedule at all. I feel like I was free, now I’m trapped. My mental health is definitely suffering.

Only thing to figure out now is if I’m going to quit or ask for a demotion.

No shade whatsoever but I can't wait to see how everything looks in about 10 yrs. With so many ppl saying fukk working a 9-5. Been in California since age 18 and it's always been expensive but working has afforded me an my family a pretty above average lifestyle. Bought my house at age 32, but I see the ppl at that age now all shocked up in apartments with roommates. I got younger relatives who say shyt like "fukk sitting in an office all day" yet they have not a :pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of". Even say shyt like they don't get the idea of owning a home because it's just a lifetime of debt. I know shyt changes from generation to generation but it seems like the millenials and gen z want to skip steps and go straight to comfort without putting in the hardwork. Life ain't never been easy, but there's no reason to make it harder by not doing the things ppl have always done to raise the quality of their lives. But hopefully it works out for the ppl who are saying fukk a 9-5. I just don't think it will

I hope to one day convince the black population to take inventing things seriously. U will not be free if u keep having to pursue an education, long after u graduated school - which is the case with modern occupations, especially tech.
