They're not bad, but I can also see them getting run off the field by Pittsburgh again (if we make it) or by New England or Oakland

Defenses tighten up in the playoffs, and the quality of your QB becomes more and more important. I'm passing on the Chefs

The Chiefs are really a lucky team this year. They're 19th in scoring offense, 9th in scoring defense; they're not some world beater. They've been living high on turning teams over and scoring on defense and special teams. Not really a repeatable formula for the playoffs.

didnt the Broncos win the superbowl?

Yall still hatimg Alex Smith in 2016 :dwillhuh:

Dude is like the most winningest QB in the entire league the past 5 years (Brady only one maybe with a better record, but itd be close), with multiple play off wins, including going to a championship game and a few special teams fukk ups from going to the super bowl.

Has one of the best QB ratings, lowest turn overs, averages like 250 yards and 1-2 tds a game

While some of yall QBs are Matt Ryan :mjlol: was Tony Romo during these past 5 years :mjlol: Geno Smith/Fitzpatrick :mjlol: etc..

Lotta yall care so much bout flash and looking good rather than just winning games. Fans of the Eagles but hate on "dink and dunking" chiefs :mjlol: fukking idiots :bryan:

Alex Smith better than 90% QBs in the league. Yeah hes not gonna get you 5000 pass yards in a season, but hes also not gonna get you 50 interceptions.

Hes won on multiple teams now for many years. Easy to say the "game manager" knows how to win. While yall switch QBs every 4 games hoping someone breaks out :mjlol:

Yall hold his beginning part of his career against him, but ignore his success the past half decade. Thatd be like being 25 years old but still being judged on the stupid shyt you did in high school.

Man I appreciate your passion for Alex Smith, and I agree that he's a good winning QB. But in the playoffs, most of the time, you have to be better than "won't win it for you but won't lose it for you". The only QBs in that category that ever win anything play on teams with transcendent defenses, which the Chefs are not. I can see them winning a wild card game. I can't see them going further when every score, every point is a grind.

he went to SF who had a beastly D to KC who has a great D. Dude has 11 TD's after 13 weeks of football and u up in here posting this? :mjlol:

Smith never won games on his own and he doesnt make plays to win them either. You gotta be blind as a bat to think otherwise.

Alex Smith can go Brady when he wants to. That game they got their asses kicked by the Colts in that comeback he was launching darts 30 yards deep. He still had a A-list performance too.

He just plays real conservative though.

This. Dude does not need to put up points. His D and special teams will do it for him. He's good at not turning the ball over but if you told a QB not to worry about winning, just keep things close, there would be a lot of Alex Smith's out there. I just think the Chiefs as a team are good enough to carry Alex's pedestrian play.
