The media didn't lie about his quotes. He produced a great soundbyte and it was used over and over again. It wasn't a misquote it wasn't misused. His practice habits had already been in question before that rant. I remember watching it live and dying laughing and feeling sad for him after the press conference went on another 20/30 minutes afterwards, but when it was over all everyone was talking about was the practice thing. Bill Clinton said more than "I did not have sex with that woman" or something to that effect but thats all most people remember.
it was a misquote. he was saying practice isn't important in the grand scheme of his fukking friend dying and losing in the playoffs. they left that shyt out of the quote to make him look lazy though. as if allen iverson would have been as great as he was if he didn't fukking practice.
that wasn't in the quote dumbass. It was after the fact he stated it.
