Which is exactly what? We may have to wait until Rose finishes his career....cause based of the information we have now, I'd have to go with Iverson.

He won an MVP like Rose and took his team to the NBA Finals, helping Philly to become the only team to give LA their single playoff loss that year.

Iverson at his peak gave you 30 ppg, 8 apg, 4 rebs and 2.5 steals.

But even if there is still debate...

We are saying "in their prime" as if the person stays in their prime. The conversation should basically mean that you have them in their prime and going forward.

Iverson going forward didn't have lingering injury issues & the jury is still out on whether Rose can have a relatively healthy rest of his career.

So w/ that being said, starting in their prime & thinking about a 6-7 year plan...I'm going Iverson.

If 32 year old AI can go to Denver and mesh with another big scorer like Melo and his 'chucking' suddenly turns into a pretty good fg%, I wonder what we coulda seen if prime AI had a halfway decent second scorer on his team to take some of the heat off.

Funny how the moment AI got on a squad with another good scorer his fg% immediately went up and he was still averaging 26+ points, and this was at age 32

I noticed that too a while ago.

The moment he got to Denver, he averaged .454% fg one year, and .458% fg the next.

And he was 32 then.

That's better than Russell Westbrook's fg average and he's three-four inches taller. Maybe AI just needed another scorer to open the floor for him.
