...there are multiple Ivy League grads on here.
Enjoying hip hop and sports discussions doesn't preclude you from obtaining higher education.

Like I said. There are a bunch of us on here.If true, again, an alum(s) -- with the slightest of possibility -- might post on here...
I think I recall one poster professed to be an alum in this thread >>> http://www.thecoli.com/threads/when...etics-stanford-is-the-goat-university.162556/
but still...
WTF is an Ivy League alum thinking being on here?!
It's like hanging out with folks on skid row and revisiting them just for the experience and to accessorize with commoners on some Radical Chic shyt... Just can't see it.
It doesn't make socio-economic sense at all. It doesn't make societal sense.

Like I said. There are a bunch of us on here.
Like every other form of social media it's just entertainment breh![]()

Congrats.
Do tell...
If you're an Ivy alum, this Web site isn't for you in theory, according to social scientists.
So what's your rational for being on here?!
And how and when did you get disconnected?
And it's never just entertainment, although that might be the primary function and use.
Stumbled on it as a place to discuss hip hop and followed here. It really is entertainment. I'm failing to see the socio economic connection you're attempting to make. And I really don't know what more than entertainment you're attempting to imply it is. People from every background and education level listen to hip hop, watch sports and use computers.I came fromStumbled on it as a place to discuss hip hop and followed here. It's ALL characterized by segmentation in nearly every element of society very few exceptions, save the fascinated, disconnected, misguided and/or in some cases fortunate souls who break rank. And again, if are an Ivy League alum, then that would -- in small part -- explain the .0000000000009 percent who post here.
So yes, The Coli is a social/entertainment deal... right.
An Ivy League alum, with an all access pass to everything six figures and above, consistently visiting a virtual social/entertainment hang out spot filled with folks who will never see that all access card and all it entails doesn't make sociological sense.
I know Ivy Leaguers who break rank. And nearly all of them have lost their respective way.
So what gives?
This is actually interesting. I don't live in the USA so I'm intrigued by the perception of ivy leagues.
How do you view the coli, as a website and its clientele if you were to sum up the average coli person and what you think their job is what would you describe it as.
I'm just trying to see your side of things as to why you think an Ivy League student wouldn't post on here, it has to do with how you perceive the posters.
Also, as a random side note do you think a Wall Street banker would post on here either?
Interested to know.
But what about those of us who already have access to "six figures and above" and legitimately just enjoy banter about sports and music? How exactly is that "breaking ranks?" I'm just not following what you're implying. Maybe you can post one of these socio economic studies that explains your argument.
