Finally got my 2nd listen and first uninterrupted.

I really like this album.

This album takes a few plays, get better with every play.

I'm not even ready to say if it's just nice or really dope.
It does take a bit too much attention in the end or you could fall a sleep, but that's just the mood of the album and perhaps not the quality.



So Far Gone and Take Care might make a case, a lot of people would argue for it.
I would say So Far Gone is a classic mixtape and Take Care will be remembered but it could've and should've been better but he was too focused on getting his whole repertoire on an album. So zero classics but 3 extremely nice projects, those two plus NWTS.

You act like the average cole fan was ever turning to him for turn up popcorn music, just stop with that hollow talking point because it's not true. The "he's speaking real shyt" is said about every project he makes, dude didn't earn the relatable label by not being relatable. Lastly, again, nothing wrong with making mature music - snoop did on bush, dre on Compton, Nas on life is good - but that doesn't mean it has to be subpar, flat, or done so much in a vacuum that you miss blatantly unappealing elements - LIKE OD'ING ON BAD SINGING thinking it passes as "artsy" or "depth"
