Nah man. No way near tpab. Tpab is honestly a top 10 rap album of all time. Up there with illmatic, mbdtf, liquid swords, moment of truth, madvilliany etc.

As it should be...not trying to sound pretentious here, but like kamasi washington said, Tpab features some of the best jazz music we have heard in 4 decades. I don't even enjoy some of it, but quality wise, it's undeniable.Just saw the new B&W's best sounding albums ever and tpab is the only rap album on it
There's a reason if herbie Hancock is working with all the musicians that produced tpab.

Was bumping tpab yesterday. Got damn, that album is something else man.
Here i thought that mbdtf was going to hold on as the best album of this decade but kendrick flipped the script. I believe his next album will be better than tpab. what a time.

I don't even know why some of you listen to Cole. It is apparent some of you listen to him just to hate. If you don't like his style and thinks he is boring, then cool. If you like trap beats and like to turn up Cole is just not for you. I never understood whypeople listen to artists they don't like
Anyways of off the 1st listen I really enjoyed the album. I think some of it is age related. Me and Cole are about the same age, so I can relate to the subject matter more than some of you who are a little younger. Being married settling down with family, looking at the crazy shyt that is going on in the world, and trying to become a better person professionally and personally is where I'm at in life, so the album content is made for someone like me. My only criticism is on a couple songs is flow was too show and it felt like he was talking instead of really flowing. But overall it was a really good album imo.

feel like people here really don't know what they're talking about and should start making the difference between "what I don't like" and "what I should aknowledge as good/bad"

Heck. I listen to jazz. Tpab has some of the best musical compositions i have ever heard. Wesleys theory, for sale, hmadc, mortal man, for free?, these walls. Its the greatest produced album since mbdtf and to go even far back its the greatest produced album since ok computer.
