anybody who knows music, its history and its different genres seems to agree with this. it may not be your taste, but it really is one of the best and is being praised (by those who have enough knowledge to review music) as one of the best albums.

From a pure objective standpoint, I have yet to find a single flaw in this album, which makes me think it's a perfect 10/10 album underrated by edgy critics as a 96/100 record. It's still good though, as far as I can remember, it's the highest score ever given to a rap record, even if its not rap, even the deliveries, the "flows" (which aren't) are 100% jazz. definitely highly influenced by jazz poetry you could find in free jazz in the 50s
u see this the bullshyt i dont like. no one would ever try to justify the greatness of a stevie wonder or MJ album by preceding their argument with "everybody that knows music and history agrees..."

cuz their music is genuinely all time great and everybody can tell becuz all humans hav the ability to appreciate music. yall need to stop forcin kendricks suposed genius on folks by referring to critics, the music shud speak for itself.

Kendrick is lucky to have Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington and Terrance Martin crafting his albums.

Anderson Paak is more talented than Kendrick...AND I'm not even talking about playing instruments.

Stop playing right now.
Paak is more talented but does he make better albums than Kendrick? Nope. Gkmc wasn't crafted by those names above. Also Kendrick has the best ear for beats in the game.

yeah malibu was ok, but probably not even the 2nd best album of the month of its release. But its a good album if you're just getting into music because it's generic, therefore very accessible
